Symptoms of Detoxification Process

Understanding the Detox process you may experience.
When we lose weight, we also lose lots of toxins stored in fat cells. Releasing this toxins can start causing symptoms. We suggest you lower LipidAid dose to 1 capsule with 8-12 oz of water 30 min before your first meal, and 1 in the afternoon to avoid cravings. If your cravings are at night take it 30 min before your last meal. Increase to 2 capsules when symptoms pass.
Not all our customers experience any kind of detox symptoms, but others do. As part of the fat elimination process, you will release toxins because LipidAid targets fat cells, but at the same time supports your liver as it eliminates inflammation from the cell, and helps clean the blood.
When suddenly release built up toxins all at once, the body alarms causing a host of unpleasant symptoms referred to as “detox”. These symptoms might include skin breakouts, gas and bloating, body aches, brain fog, fatigue, low energy, headaches, irritability, extreme cravings (for sweet, salty or other unhealthy foods), constipation or diarrhea.
Staying hydrated, and eating a nutrient rich whole foods diet is so important, while including a whole food multivitamin that contains B12 (methylcobalamin). These will help ensure you are replenishing nutrients. A great way to support your digestion while doing a cleanse is to drink fresh vegetable juices, for its digestive enzymes.

Symptoms of Detox:
1. Fatigue & Disrupted Sleep Patterns
Stimulating the body to purge toxins requires a larger internal workload than the body is used to. This creates fatigue and sometimes disrupted sleep. Expect to feel more tired and respond to the feeling by resting more than you normally do.
2. Headache
A dull, prolonged headache is one of the most common detoxification side effects. Headaches during detox are most common in the afternoon and evening, as the body has been active all day. One reason this happens is because you have altered your normal daily routine and most likely ditched some bad habits such as drinking alcohol, caffeine, smoking or cutting out sugars or processed foods, etc. This creates a situation of withdrawal, which can cause a headache, as your body is no longer receiving these.
3. Frequent urination, Loose stools & Digestive upset
As discussed under number 2, urination and loose stools are some ways the body eliminates toxins. Some of the herbs in a cleanse may be slightly diuretic, which stimulate the body to urinate and have a bowel movement.
It can be a shock to the digestive system to introduce herbs, nutrients, more fresh, whole foods, while eliminating processed foods and bad habits. The stimulation of purging toxins and excess hormones also stimulate more frequent digestion and the body works hard to get rid of the bad stuff.
4. Nausea
The change in diet and lifestyle, along with the introduction of herbs and nutrients may cause some slight nausea.
The best ways to avoid nausea are through hydration, diet choices, resting more and taking capsules 30 minute before a meal and with lots of water. This should pass in a few days. If it advances to vomiting, something else may be going on. See Signs and symptoms you may be detoxing too quickly below for more information about this.
Signs and Symptoms You May be Detoxing Too Quickly.
Sometimes the body tries to expel toxins faster than they can be properly eliminated. When this happens, more serious symptoms may appear. These are a warning of caution by your body to slow down and lower the number of capsules. These symptoms include rash, severe headache, high blood pressure ( also triggered by stress), flu-like symptoms, very rarely vomiting, and water-like diarrhea for more than 3 days. Any of these symptoms may also be a sign of a reaction to one of the ingredients, and it may need to be discontinued before you see a doctor.
Other important information.
Sensitivity to Certain Herbs.
If you would like to know if LipidAid is for you or you develop an allergic reaction after first intake, to know if is LipidAid herbs is causing it, we recommend checking your blood sugar level. This simple test, will help you see if you are sensitive to the herbs we use.
- Get a Blood Glucose Monitor
- Take LipidAid in an empty stomach
- Check your glucose levels 2 hrs after.
- If is higher than the initial number, then one of the ingredients is irritating the body. Please give us a call for better assist you and provide a refund.
Get enough sleep. A study in The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism found in healthy subjects, even a partial night of poor sleep contributes to insulin resistance. Make sleep a top priority to normalize insulin levels. Avoid eating three hours before bed and take an UltraBath to raise your body temperature and relax your muscles. Go to bed and wake up at consistent times, only use your bed for sleep and sex, and try herbal therapies or melatonin if necessary.
Control stress levels. Chronic stress elevates cortisol, your main stress hormone. Increased cortisol levels elevate blood sugar and promote the accumulation of belly fat that I commonly see in patients with insulin resistance or diabetes. You can’t eliminate stress, but you can reduce its impact. Find what works for you. That might be meditation, yoga, deep breathing, or exercise.
This should subside within a few days as your body adjusts to the herbs. If gas and bloating persist, check your diet and slowly work your way back into a healthy living. This is also a sign you need to drink more water.

Do not confuse with loose stool after you eat which is mushy. Watery diarrhea is liquid and constant.

It also means that your colon is beginning to make the peristalsis movement (the movement colon makes in order to eliminate waste). The cramping will cease with more fiber intake.
